So...you have 60 seconds to sell yourself to a potential employer...go!
Keep it SHORT
Ideally 45 seconds. Remember to be clear, concise and compelling.
Tell them what you will BRING
What skills can you offer, and what results can you provide?
Be PREPARED
and know exactly what message you want your potential employer to walk away with.
TAILOR
your elevator pitch. You don’t want to want to sound like a robot,
but you do want to tailor your speech for different situations.
Be CONFIDENT
in yourself, and what you have to offer.
PRACTICE makes perfect
The more your practice, the more natural it will sound and the better your delivery will be.
RELAX
with your elevator pitch and don’t be too serious! People respond to anything that makes them smile.
